Denim, Diamonds, and Dice, FSR’s annual casual gala and casino-themed fundraiser raises money to help defray the cost of home delivered meals for lower-income seniors. First held in 2019, the planning committee created a night of casual fun encouraging casual denim attire or sparkle and diamond bling. Attendees try their hand playing casino games with local celebrity dealers.
We are looking for additional volunteers willing to share their ideas and talents as we make plans and prepare for our 2025 Denim, Diamonds, and Dice event! Volunteers interested in helping create live and silent auction baskets would also be appreciated.

Volunteers complete 12 hours of initial training in preparation for conducting supervised parenting times and exchanges. A minimum of two shifts per month and attendance of a monthly two-hour staff meeting are required. Preferred one or more year commitment.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  & 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Through Neighbors Helping Neighbors, we conduct Home Safety Visits, helping to identify potential safety and fall hazards in the home of seniors in our community.

Volunteer: Lawn Mowing Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are needed to mow lawns for seniors and those with disabilities this summer.  Mowing begins as soon as the yard is ready for mowing and ends in November based on need and weather.  The volunteer should be available to mow every 5-7 days early in the season, every 7-10 days later in the season, or as needed and agreed upon with homeowner.  Homeowners may or may not have a lawn mower.  If you are able to transport your mower to a location, please include that in your response.
